"If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him." -John 12:26

"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." -Galatians 5:13

How and Where Can I Serve?

Here's exciting opportunities where your help would make a big difference!

Worship Team

The worship team is a vital part of the worship service. If you have the giftings of singing, instruments, or sound system experience, contact Maria Crigger. Maria oversees this area of ministry at GOP.

Grounds Keeping

There is always work outside the building. If you would like to help in the up keep of the grounds see Tim Scott. There is always a need for mowing, weeding and trimming .

Children's Ministry Workers

If you would like to help with the children, please see Pastor Tina. We need workers in:

Sunday School
Nursery
Children's Church
Cross Kids (Sunday evenings)

Ushers/ Greeters

Do you like to welcome visitors and church family on Sunday mornings? See Rick and Leslie Dunstan and they will discuss with you greeting and ushering.

Kitchen/Dinners

Do you enjoy cooking? Do you like to help for special dinners? The ladies are always looking for help. See Traci Hose for more information.

Cleaning Crew

One of the less favorite ways to serve is cleaning the church. If you don't mind and are willing to help in this area, see Rob Lawson. Rob would be happy to help you find a cleaning partner.
